Educational direction in the Active Jewish Teens project.
AJTorah is an educational track that helps teens dive deeper into Jewish history, traditions, and values - and learn how to share this knowledge with others in a clear and engaging way.
Each month, AJTorah offers thematic materials aligned with AJT’s annual global Jewish theme. Teens participating in the program join weekly online meetings where they explore methods of Jewish informal education and modern approaches to teaching. A key component of the program is the annual AJTorah seminar, where participants expand their knowledge and gain inspiration for leading educational activities in their clubs.
An AJTorah coordinator in the club is a teen who leads sessions for their peers, developing leadership, communication, public speaking, and creative skills. They become the “Jewish voice” of the club - someone who helps others connect to their identity through tradition.
AJTorah is more than just learning - it's a community of those who explore, share, and pass knowledge forward.
