The AJT Madrichim School

The AJT Madrichim School is an educational program for Jewish teens who want to become leaders in their clubs and communities. It's not just a course - it's a journey of growth, where knowledge meets practice, and personal development goes hand in hand with a sense of responsibility and belonging to a larger Jewish community. Participants gain essential skills in informal education, youth psychology, Jewish traditions and values, and learn how to plan and lead sessions, work with groups, inspire others, and lead with authenticity. The program includes three in-person seminars, a series of online sessions, and practical assignments designed to help teens apply their skills in real club settings.

Madrichim School is a space where teens explore themselves more deeply, build leadership, empathy, creativity, and confidence. It’s not about giving ready-made answers - it’s about creating an environment where young people can try, fail, learn, collaborate, and make real change. Most importantly, graduates of the program become madrichim in their communities: leading activities, sharing Jewish knowledge, and strengthening traditions.

It’s also a chance to meet like-minded peers, become part of the active AJT community, and take the first steps toward becoming a true leader. The most motivated graduates are invited to join the AJT team at seminars, take part in regional events, receive ongoing educational support, and continue growing within the movement.
