Active jewish teens
Place where you can be yourself
Our mission is to support the development of Jewish teens by nurturing them as active leaders of the next generation and as the foundation of Jewish communities. AJT is built on the principles of informal education, placing the teen and their Jewish identity at the center.
BECOME A PARTICIPANTAJT is a unique and safe space for Jewish teens aged 13–17, founded in 2014 by teens from the former Soviet Union with the support of the JDC (Joint Distribution Committee). The project brings together like-minded peers, helps young people fulfill their personal needs, and encourages active engagement in community life.

EDUCATION
Jewish tradition — closer than it seems
At AJT, teens discover what it means to be part of the Jewish people - through history, traditions, culture, and modern meaning. We create a space where everyone can ask questions, seek answers, and shape their own Jewish identity.
Education at AJT is not just about knowledge - it’s about community. It’s a place to find friends who share your values, and a chance to take responsibility: to lead the educational track in your club, organize and run sessions for your peers, and share what inspires you.
VOLUNTEERING
Live your freedom by helping others
AJT is a space where teens don’t just talk about change — they make it happen. Volunteer projects, charitable initiatives, and community support are all organized by the participants themselves.
We promote a culture of volunteering in the regions and collaborate with the international network of volunteer centers "Volunteer Community" International Network

AJT has become my second family. Here I grow, develop, make new friends, and discover new sides of myself. Every day I challenge myself and try something new. AJT is a space where you can be yourself and unlock your potential.

Vladyslava Dzvonyk

I joined AJT at the age of 13, and it gave me a real push toward social development. Through participating in seminars, quizzes, and conferences, I became more open and confident. The most important thing I’ve realized is that AJT isn’t just a place - it’s the people who inspire and support you.

Daniel Tsyporin
Kyiv, 16 years old
For me, AJT is where I became a leader and a Jewish educator. Here I opened up, learned to communicate, and share my knowledge. Thanks to AJT, I teach speedcubing, joined camps and seminars, and made friends from different cities whom I’m still close with.
