International Day of Jewish Learning took place in FSU countries

On November 20 in all AJT (Active Jewish Teens) cities and counties was held Global Day of Jewish Learning. Theme of this year — Under the Same Sky: “The Earth is Full of Your Creations” one of many references in Jewish texts about beauty and immensity of our world and nature. Much attention was paid to ecology and the environment, natural cycles and seasons, cultivation and nutrition.

Laboratory «Memory Cinema»

In January 2017 we start to compose a group of Jewish teenagers and older children for laboratory «Memory Cinema». The goal of the project: to teach younger generation the basics of fascinating profession documentary filmmaker and familiarise them with prominent figures of the Jewish community. The project is implemented with the support Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund (JHF).

#WeRemember: in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day

NEW YORK - Ahead of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, the World Jewish Congress has launched what it hopes will be the largest social media commemoration ever held. As part of this ambitious campaign, the WJC will ask millions of people to hold up a sheet of paper with the words “We Remember” and post it to social media with the hashtag #WeRemember.
