The first apartment concert "Among Their Own" (Kazan)

Last Saturday, the Kazan AJT club "Among Their Own" held the first apartment concert. The teens could not only share their favorite songs but they could also read poems and different  interesting stories.

Music surrounds us absolutely everywhere. We can not always hear it in everyday life, but if we listen carefully, such common sounds as the car rumble, conversations of people passing by, the noise of the howling wind or the crunching snow under our feet create one beautiful melody. But a man is an intelligent and clever creature, so we have learned to create our own music that we can listen to whenever and wherever we want. However, the best part is that we can share it with other people.

Last Saturday, the Kazan AJT club "Among Their Own" held the first apartment concert. The teens could not only share their favorite songs but they could also read poems and different  interesting stories.

Before the start of the apartment concert, the participants held  Havdalah, which gradually adjusted the teens to the right mood. Despite the fact that due to the compliance of sanitary standards it is necessary to keep a distance at public events, the club's activists were able to share their energy and emotions with everyone who came that evening. Having sung all the prayers and having said good-bye to the Shabbat Queen, the teens started the first apartment concert.

There is no better song to start with than "Hallelujah". The song "Hallelujah" is known all over the world: no matter where you are, if you hear the word "Hallelujah", you can be sure that something good has happened to the person who uttered it. Therefore, having started the event with such a beautiful song, the club members once again reminded everyone that music and creativity unite us and make us stronger.

The speakers helped everyone to immerse in their own little worlds, and the whole event was a creative journey, after which no one wanted to leave. Song by song, melody by melody, sound by sound, note by note makes us think that music can heal. Hmm, maybe it really does? Music might be a panacea that people have been looking for for a very long time? While scientists are trying to figure it out, the AJT club "Among Their Own" has already achieved great results!
